Full time ministry doesn't mean working in a church full-time. I too think God has this wonderful way of placing certain people in our lives at certain times as an intricate part of building his Kingdom. That said, is being a "home inspector" an integral part of Kingdom living and thus a "full-time ministry"? Personally, I suppose it is! Where would we all be if our homes all fell apart and there was no one to fix them? Perhaps the real question for your new friend is, "How can I unite my calling as a home builder/inspector (his passion/dream, Acts 2:17) with my ministry goals and God's vision for my life?" That seems like a diverse, creative, relational, and fun full-time ministry to be a part of!!! Great thoughts Brad! But seriously over the past few years there has been so many "God appointments" in my life that there is absolutley no way to chalk them all up to some freak chance of circumstance! We had dinner with friends from our days in T.O. on Sat. evening and realize now that there was no coincidence in the timing of getting together as our lives over the past few years have run parallel in experience and where we are at in general.
